We had a unusual visitor the other day.  Someone had purchased this car - or his father (George Nakamura) had purchased and Walt Nakamura picked up the racing car.  This what it looks like at the present time.

It is called The Meteor, a homebuilt roadster made by Alfred Churchill, 1939.

The Meteor was clocked at Muroc (Now called Edwards Air Force Base) 104 mph (1940).

Hand formed aluminum body, model T truck frame, 1937 Cadillac V8 motor, 3 speed transmission, 32 front axle, 39 rear end, 2 seat roadster.

Original owners for past 60 years. (George Nakamura and R Phippen)

Back View - notice the tire tread - we think original tires
